The Precaution package includes
Automatic rescue device

- Elevator Software and Sensors to enable the lift to move under battery power.
Functionality includes:
- In the event of a power failure, the elevator moves and stops at the nearest floor and then the doors will open to ensure safe exiting of passengers.
- The elevator is then placed out of service pending restoration of normal electrical service.
- This device prevents passengers from being trapped inside an elevator during a power failure.
- Rather than being inconvenienced for an indeterminate period of time pending the arrival of a service technician during a power blackout, the passengers are automatically released within seconds.
